Dear Friends,

I would appreciate a modicum of discretion around today’s release, please and thank you. There are more details in here than on the website…

Lot 96 comes to us from one of my favorite Napa Valley wineries. Unpretentious and free of the usual pomp and circumstance of Napa Valley “proper”, it lies tucked away on the alluvial drainages of the Oak Knoll appellation bordering Mt. Veeder to the west and a stone’s throw from Napa Carneros to the south. Generationally-owned and farming focused, these folks produce consistently great wines at comparably great prices for Napa Valley.

Now, if these folks produce great values to begin with, can you imagine the deal I have for you today!?!?

I mention Napa Carneros above for a reason: the Lot 96 2024 Napa Valley Pinot Noir is not only a close neighbor but a virtual doppelganger for any number of Napa Carneros Pinots. We are talking all the bells and whistles here too…100% estate fruit from premium blocks of well-regarded clonal selections, 100% free-run juice raised up in 50% new French oak and a $40+/bottle price tag.

Ladies and gents, this is a no-expense-spared production good enough to bring to a Saturday night dinner party but also a fantastic cellar defender or holiday party wine.

And, today it is available to you at the insane price of just $99/case!

Yes indeed, it is time to Back Up The Truck!

Gorgeous bouquet of ripe strawberry, truffle and bergamot haloed with a lilac and rose petal perfume laced with savory aromas. The wine becomes more beguiling with each swirl with cherry liqueur, black raspberry, Earl Grey and baking spice notes complexing the show beautifully. Perfectly ripe on entry with a mid-palate that is at once delicious and ethereal with a fantastic underlying chalky structure delivering cherry blossom, raspberry and chocolate/mocha notes in an epic finish of huge, pristine length. Perfectly ripe, vibrant and effusive as well as super-complex, this is an outstanding Pinot Noir at an amazing price!

Giddyup folks, this offer won’t last forever!
